60 an hour Personal Care Assistant Job description Bruce Health Care Services is a small, local company that provides services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We are looking for a Personal Care Assistant to help our clients in their daily lives and to provide support to them in their homes and communities.
You will be responsible for providing care and comfort to the client in person.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient, and able to follow instructions.
We are looking for someone who can help us clients feel valued, comfortable, and safe.
We need someone in the Euless-Bedford area.
Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care items (medications, food, etc.
) Help clients with personal hygiene such as bathing, dressing, etc.
Help clients get dressed Help clients get their daily dose of medication Plan and prepare meals Keep an updated record of the client's health and welfare.
Report any unusual incidents Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
Skills Proven experience as a personal care assistant or in another related role Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) Great physical stamina and strength for repetitive tasks High school diploma or equivalent Job Types:
